Composition of Equilac® capsules

Equilac® mare’s milk capsules contain 600 mg of horse milk powder per capsule without added preservatives. Our capsules are made of gelatin (bovine) with a “00” capsule size, making them easy to swallow. They are packaged in a blister pack (or blister strip) for better protection and longer shelf life up to 18 months from the manufacturing date. Store the capsules at room temperature in a dark place.

Concentrated horse milk powder

The powdered horse milk used in Equilac® capsules is obtained by spray-drying raw mare’s milk under low temperatures. The mare’s milk is heated slowly and then sprayed under high pressure, whereby about 91% of the water, which is present in liquid mare’s milk, is evaporated, and the horse milk powder is left behind. This process ensures that the powder does not contain bacteria, and the active ingredients are not neutralized. Our horse milk powder undergoes various quality controls for human consumption before being incorporated into our capsules.

How to use Equilac® horse milk capsules

If you take your health seriously and wish to take a different approach to soothe skin issues, we recommend using Equilac® capsules for three consecutive months and discovering what our capsules can do for your skin.

Use: 2 capsules per day in the morning on an empty stomach with cold water for three months. If the symptoms stabilize after three months, you can reduce the intake of Equilac® to 1 capsule per day as prevention and maintenance. You can continue to use Equilac® if you wish. Many Equilac® users continue to take the capsules when their condition has stabilized.

Children: Our capsules are suitable for children from 4 years and older. Children between 4 and 12 years have enough with one capsule per day. The capsules can be easily opened, and the horse milk powder can be mixed into yogurt or other cold foods.

Medication: Equilac® is a dietary supplement (not a drug) and can be used together with medication without affecting the effect of any medicine.

Possible side effects: Some users experience worsening of their symptoms during the first month. This is normal and is proof that your body is responding to changes by taking Equilac® capsules. It is essential that you continue your treatment. If the aggravation does not disappear, you can reduce the intake to 1 capsule per day or stop the treatment.

It is recommended not to use Equilac® capsules if:

• You are allergic to horses
• During the pregnancy
• You are lactose intolerant
• You are diabetic. Equilac® capsules contain a low amount of lactose (milk sugar)
